Odin vs Allocations is a comparison of two SPV and fund-administration stacks, not a 1:1 swap. Odin publishes SPV prices from $6,000 and states it takes no platform carry. Allocations publishes a $9,950 Standard SPV, a $19,500 Premium SPV, a $19,500-per-year fund, and 0% platform carry. This page is mechanics. It is not an offer or investment advice.
Figures attributed to Odin below were read from that firm's public product pages on 26 August 2026. They are not linked here. If a figure was not on those pages, it is omitted.
What each firm says it sells
Odin's public homepage (26 August 2026) describes end-to-end SPVs, fund infrastructure, and a founder-rollup product. The SPV product page lists use cases from syndicate deals through late-stage secondaries, and structures as an English Trust (also described as a UK Bare Trust, including S/EIS) or a Delaware LP, in GBP, EUR, or USD. The fund product page lists self-serve and full-service fund administration and names English LP, Delaware LP, and offshore as domicile options. The founder-rollup page is a separate SKU for collecting angel checks onto one vehicle.
Allocations is SPV formation plus fund administration for emerging GPs, syndicate leads, and similar managers. Published fees, confirmed on the Allocations fees page on 26 August 2026: $9,950 one-time Standard SPV, $19,500 one-time Premium SPV, $19,500 per year fund, 0% platform carry. AllocationsX is a FINRA/SIPC broker-dealer for secondaries. It is not an offering of any security on this page.
This is not another AngelList, Sydecar, or Carta comparison. Those pairings already exist. Dedicated Allocations comparisons already shipped for Juniper Square and Play Money. Full fee math for Allocations is on Allocations pricing explained.
Odin vs Allocations: published prices this run
Only list prices that were on a public page on 26 August 2026.
Odin, SPV product page. "From $6,000." Included items listed on that page: lifetime administration and distributions; English Trust or Delaware LP structure; banking and payments; annual FATCA / CRS filings; tax documents (K-1s, S/EIS certificates); flexible carry and fee structures; full exit and wind-down.
Odin, founder-rollup product page. One-off "From £4k / €5k / $6k." Always-on "From £6.5k / €7.5k / $8.5k/year," described as everything in one-off plus one rolling close per quarter. The same page states a minimum investor ticket of $1,000 and that additional fees may apply for certain services.
Odin, fund product page. Self-serve "From $15k/year" (full accrual accounting and ledgers; AI-powered onboarding, drawdowns, and reconciliations; LP portal; role-based permissions; CSV export). Full service "From $25k/year," described as everything in self-serve plus a dedicated fund accountant, banking setup, ongoing fund accounting, admin and reporting, and "reg hosting via trusted partner (get in touch for pricing)." Regulatory-hosting price is not published. It is omitted.
Odin, SPV FAQ on the same SPV product page. "Do you take any carry or economics in the deal?" Published answer: "No. Odin charges a flat service fee. We take no platform carry and no economics in your deal." A second FAQ on that page states carry and fees are fully customisable per investor.
Allocations, fees page (26 August 2026). Standard SPV $9,950 one-time. Premium SPV $19,500 one-time. Fund $19,500 annual subscription. 0% platform carry. This article does not add other Allocations line items.
Odin help-center articles that quote extra founder-rollup add-ons were behind a bot challenge this run and are not used. Any Odin percentage-of-raise syndicate fee, hidden-cost add-on, or unpublished SKU is omitted.

Structure and who controls the vehicle
Odin's SPV page presents the vehicle as an English Trust or a Delaware LP that Odin stands up, with banking and payments handled and lifetime administration included. The same page's FAQ set includes "Do I need my own lawyers?" and "What's the difference between a UK Bare Trust and a Delaware LP?" — the answers did not render as standalone paragraphs in the fetch used for prices, so they are not paraphrased. The public claim that is used: Odin forms the structure and runs admin on it.
Allocations is built for a manager-controlled vehicle. The GP (or managing member) remains the control person. The platform's published job is formation and administration on a flat fee, with no platform carry. That is the relevant contrast: a service fee versus a promote, on both sides as of this run, plus a difference in how each firm describes control of the entity.
Neither sentence is a ranking. A syndicate that wants a UK trust and S/EIS paperwork is shopping a different structure than a Delaware LLC SPV used next to a US fund. A US emerging manager who wants the GP to stay on the operating agreement is shopping a different control model than a platform-hosted trust.
Carry, fees, and what "flat" means
Both firms, on the pages read this run, say they do not take platform carry.
Odin's wording is "flat service fee" plus "from $6,000" on the SPV SKU, and per-year floors on the fund SKUs. "Flat" here is Odin's word. It is not independently audited in this article. Custom carry that the lead charges investors is a different number: Odin's SPV FAQ says that carry is customisable per investor. That is the lead's promote, not Odin's.
Allocations' wording is a published one-time SPV price or an annual fund price, and 0% platform carry. The lead can still take carry under the vehicle documents. The platform does not.
Do not convert either stack into a blended "all-in bps" without the invoice. Currency (GBP vs USD), add-ons that were not public this run, and investor-paid versus lead-paid fees will change the comparison. This page does not compute a winner on cost.
Who each stack fits, on published mechanics
Odin's public positioning (homepage and product pages, 26 August 2026): syndicates and emerging managers running deals in days; UK and US structures; founder rollups; fund admin that is self-serve or full-service; investors in 100+ countries and 50+ markets, in GBP, EUR, or USD. The homepage also states "Start inviting investors within two hours of submitting your deal." That is Odin's claim, dated, not a verified SLA.
Allocations' public positioning: manager-controlled SPV and fund administration with a public fee schedule and 0% platform carry. Audience named in this firm's materials: emerging GPs, syndicate leads, LPs, family offices, RIAs, and employees with illiquid equity.
A firm can outgrow a deal-by-deal stack and still need fund administration. That is a sequential purchase, not a contradiction. The Juniper Square comparison is the IR-and-portal pairing; this page is only Odin.
Neither stack replaces the issuer's own Regulation D notice. An issuer that sells in reliance on Regulation D still files Form D on EDGAR no later than 15 calendar days after the first sale in that offering; the SEC does not charge a filing fee (SEC, Form D FAQs, last reviewed 9 July 2026; accessed 26 August 2026). The platform does not become the issuer.
What this page does not claim
It does not state Odin add-on prices that were not on a public product page this run.
It does not state AngelList, Sydecar, or Carta fees.
It does not state Allocations turnaround times or unpublished product capabilities.
It does not recommend a purchase.
It is not an offer of any SPV, fund interest, or security.
If you need the Allocations schedule in one place, use the pricing explainer. If you are comparing a portal-and-CRM system rather than an SPV host, use Juniper Square vs Allocations.
Are Odin and Allocations the same product?
No. Both touch SPV formation and fund administration. Odin's public pages emphasize UK and US structures, a founder-rollup SKU, and per-investor carry tools. Allocations publishes manager-controlled SPV and fund admin on a flat US-dollar schedule with 0% platform carry. They are not 1:1 substitutes.
Does Odin take platform carry?
On the public SPV product page read on 26 August 2026, Odin's FAQ answer is that it charges a flat service fee and takes no platform carry and no economics in the deal. That is Odin's statement, not an Allocations verification.
